roman war sounds like a dumb concept to try and work into a cod game, because they didn’t have any guns to begin with, (unless if you count bows and on top of that it’s birds eye view, personally no.

I don’t think so especially if it’s a top down. I don’t know how they would apply COD’s class customization and streaks to premodern combat. If first person, I’d rather play something like Mordhau or Chivalry.

Fuck yes I would. Back in 2008, Call of Duty was about men going to war and we saw grit and valor, but evil and malice at the same time. So back then, it would have been the shit. It would be pretty bad now though.
Something akin to Call of Duty, but in historical settings would be really fucking awesome.

If it wasn’t top down then yeah, I always wondered what a cod would be like set in a time period like that. They’d probably be weird though and pull a Darkest of Days and introduce modern weaponry somehow.
