6400 32cl ram running at 70+ns latency. It is too high?

New to RAM clocking and AMD as a whole. Previous PC was very old.

I recently got a PC with the following specs.

CPU: 7800x3d
Mobo: asrock b650m pg lightning wifi
Ram: Lexar Ares DDR5 6400mhz CL32
OS: Windows 11 Professional
GPU: Zotac 4070super Twin Edge

Bios changes
PPT: 75mw
Curve Optimizer: -20
SoC: 1.2v
FCLK: Changed from 2000 to 2133

Everything else is default or auto.

The ram works out of the box. I loaded the EXPO profile for 6400. It's the only profile available.

Did a latency test with AIDA64 in safe mode and I'm getting 70 – 75ns.

From what I have read, this seems to be pretty high.

These are my timings.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

You have UCLK in the wrong mode, it needs to be 1/1 with MCLK to get optimal performance. Not all chips will be capable of this, you may have to downclock to 3100MHz aka DDR5 6200.

Your timings are fairly loose, this expected for XMP/EXPO. You can get 5-10% better real world performance with some basic tweaks.
