Would the HP Victus (1st picture) be a sufficient upgrade over the HP Pavillion I currently have (2nd picture)?

I saw this sale on the Victus come up at Walmart and I’ve been eyeing it. I don’t know too much about PC components but from what I researched, both the processor and graphics card on the Victus are significantly better than the ones on the Pavillion. Are they good enough specs to warrant spending $600+ on a new computer though? I don’t game too often on my Laptop since I primarily use it for school, but when I do game it’ll be for week-long stretches at a time so it does get ran pretty heavily sometimes.

I’ve had my current Pavillion for about 4 years and it’s treated me well but it’s starting to have trouble keeping up with some of the games I occasionally play, like Beam NG or Fortnite. I’ve even increased ram to 32 GB and have also expanded the storage with an internal 1TB 2.5” SSD but I think age is getting to the GTX 1650 card. I also don’t want I spend $1,000+ on a laptop with really high-end components, especially if I won’t be gaming on it extensively.

What do y’all think?
