Something about the sounds in the remaster sound more generic and less powerful. I’m biased as COD4 has my favorite sounds in the whole franchise, but still, the sound design is a major step down imo.
I wish I can find a comparison that includes silenced weapons. The silenced weapons in MWR legit hurt my ears with the overly-mechanical shriek.
