Solid game but I completely forgot about it until now

It kind of shows how much could be achieved with now obsolete engines that was left side by another-shooter-makers.

Indeed, those were the days when even basic engines created masterpieces. A well-deserved remake is long overdue

Really sucks that the 2nd one didn’t do well. This game would be even better with today’s graphics and physics. Had some crazy fun with this back in the day.

the game was also as deep as a puddle sadly

I loved Prototype 2. I’m pretty sure it was ahead of its time too

Been saying it. Games do the same shit we’ve been doing since PS2/360 days. It makes me sad that in this day and age we still gets essentially Pokemon style fighting.

Like you could be a T-Rex, you do bite animation, and anything close enough does damage animation, first to get numbers to 0 loses.

It just feels like they established this formula back then of a base game and they just reuse it and change it, and it’s gotta be part of the plan at this point to rereleaseling unfinished games. You just gotta release it, then wait a year and keep developing it, then everyone praises you for a job well done and you essentially rerelease the game.

  8. What may blow your mind then is that the developer’s previous title Hulk: Ultimate Destruction is basically just this.

Well, I had just turned the PS5 off, looks like I might turn it back on and have a late one tonight destroying my way across the city instead
