I've been buying parts for the past few months as I found them on sale. Overall it was really fun building a PC for the first time. I am transitioning from xbox series x, and have always been a console player. At first I wanted a 4090 build but I decided to save the 800 dollars and put that towards my next upgrade. If I could do it over again and was willing to put a little more money in, I would do a 7600x with a 4090 since I am playing mostly 4k or 1440p pn an LG oled. I first started with an amd 7900xtx but ai swapped it when I heard about the 4080super. 7900xtx was also great but I do appreciate DLSS over FSR more than I thought I would. Overall I am very happy. We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!
To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!

Overall the build cost me right around $2000 plus tax, luckily I bought my SSD before the prices went up and got everything on pretty good sales.
