I agree, it is a great mod. The best thing about it is that it is based on the original Half-Life 1 and 2, but with a complete re-imagining of the entire game.
It’s not just a port, it’s a brand new game based on the old game.
I can’t wait for the next installment of the mod.

I recently replayed the whole series in VR, with motion controls, following Half Life: Alyx. Pretty amazing how well it holds up. Even the original from ’98, with motion controls and full depth perception is amazingly immersive and completely enjoyable. The same guys (I think?) also ported Doom 3, which is unreasonably good in VR also.
