I mean, if you have no cards linked, personal information in the profile, and it’s a throwaway email originally used, go for it.

If it is a throwaway account with no sensitive info about you (real name, cards / payment method, email) then sure, I guess. But I’dnt let them get it if I were you, even if you don’t use it anymore

Didn’t Ubisoft just have a security breach 6 months ago?

It’s probably a bot, not a real person. Just delete your acc if you don’t mind anymore.

I feel like if you make an account not even remotely near where it’s attempting to be logged in at, it shouldn’t even allow entry.

I had a similar thing happen to my blizzard account except i couldn’t log in because 2FA and i lost my original phone, fast forward a few years and a hacker got rid of 2FA and got into my account which gave me an email like yours, so i just changed the password and i got my account back, thanks mr hacker, you did what blizzard support didn’t! (still wont use it tho)

once I got 13 security alerts from google about my Microsoft account, at 2AM… the 13rd attemt was a succes for the German budd.
somehow my brain sensed the danger, and I woke up at 2:04AM
I was in total shock, and couldnt sleep after…
it haunts my till this day.

You should never let those steal accounts. It’s still a crime. Change your pwd and set up 2fa and in the future you can change your mind if you want.

I’m gonna say yeah let them have it if you don’t want it. Actually, it’s a helpful attitude in life
