[COD] The fact that the PS4 and Xbox One specs don’t even qualify for the minimum specs to run MWIII on PC makes me wonder why people think it’s still a good idea to support these consoles more than 10 years later?

It’s because people aren’t upgrading as fervently to next gen as before. The leap from 360 to One was huge, while the leap from the Xbox One X to Series X was just impressive. Not to say that the Series consoles and the PS5 aren’t leagues better, but some gamers are fine with their hardware.
CoD may be one of the biggest games on the market, but it’s not the only one. But considering only CoD, they should absolutely drop support for the 2013 systems.

They make up a large portion of the player base so even if it runs at 20fps people will proudly handover their $70 or $100 every year

Running a game on PC is slightly different than a dedicated console (you have required overhead for the OS, etc). Look at the recent “PS5 runs games better than Series X” articles and the same applies.

Idk why more people haven’t upgraded considering the performance boost and more games that aren’t available on PS4 and Xbox One
