Well played Amazon, rising the the price 2 weeks before prime day, then to lower it again to $330 to show off a 23% discount.

This really rustle my jimmies.

The thing was like 300 bucks at Micro Center a couple of weeks ago

Report them if you have the proof.

Illegal in EU. Retailers must show the lowest price in 30 day period before start of the discount.

Still not sure my kids believe this happens.

    “But Dad, it’s on sale!”

This might also be AMD realizing that selling it for $325 was going to turn 9000 series into a lame duck just just 7000 was until the price cuts. & what ever the price is people are still buying it because it’s sold out again!

Time for people to realize ā€œmass salesā€ donā€™t exist in the PC world. They are either raised before hand or just cut down to market value.

Therein, **stop waiting for amazon prime day/black friday deals for PC components**.

Jokes on them. 300 at micro center.

Managed to snag one for $199 at Micro Center a few weeks ago when I bundled a mobo and RAM. Created a bundle on their site just now, CPU went from 339 to 223 in cart. If you live near one, definitely check it out.

always use a price tracker to check the price history! that’s what I do for steam as well!

I’ve been monitoring the prices on a regular basis for several years now, and this is common practice for Amazon every year, before prime day and especially black Friday! It’s so pathetic!

They think we are all dumb šŸ˜‚

Glad I bought mine a week ago for 300

  14. Amazon is rarely the cheapest place to buy anything.

Specialized vendors usually have better prices.

This is exactly why prime day is a fucking joke now. 2 years ago I had about 12 items in my cart that I had researching for a couple weeks and was waiting for prime day. About a week before prime day I noticed that all the items in my cart prices started adjusting going up. Prime day came and they made it look like a deal when there was absolutely no deal to be found. it was horseshit. Prime day is nothing more than any of the other big box stores putting a sale tag on the original price.

How is the 7800X3D $413 when the 7900X3D is $399 right now?, make it make sense.

I’ve bought a TV for 800$ aprox 2 weeks prior to black Friday because “fuck it I don’t want to wait”

Black Friday came and the same TV was then “discounted by 25% from 1200$ to 900$”

Youā€™ve had how long to buy one at a $150 discount now??? Donā€™t be upset when itā€™s still under msrp.

Guys I’m soon building a PC, going for a Ryzen 5600, which GPU should I pair with it, note a 6600xt is 12k PKR(about $50) more expensive than Asus 1080ti. 5700xt might be same price as 1080ti(55k) Note;I might be able to sell a 1080ti and buy a 6600xt for 2k($7) less.
