I’m still at 50mbps

I’d kill for that upload speed. Fastest available is 40mbps up in my area and I’m not paying $100/month for that. Not when 20mbps up is only $30/month. (make that make sense. Haha 😂)

I’ve had 1gbps up and down since earlier this year, up from 600/600. Didn’t even notice the difference, the company just upgraded old clients to the newer speeds without telling, and it was only months after that I did a random speed test that I notice the new speeds.

Damn you LPB, that’s an unfair advantage😂!

Would you share with the class what an individual could possibly need that much bandwidth for?

I recently went 500/500 but generally get closer to 600/600, coming from 45/10.
Honestly for most things it’s barely noticeable as I live alone. Reliability was my main driving force, but that’s more of a service issue.
The times when it does make a difference, like updating a game, boy does it pay off…

Pfft, I have 1gbps up and down peasant.
Joking aside, once I got fiber installed, I laugh menacingly at all the cable company internet offers.
Suikerspin_Ei
Nice!
I’m still waiting for glass fiber here. Local company has already installed the cables in the ground, but not connected to homes for a whole year now. So I’m still using internet via coax with DOCSIS 3.1 at speed of 750Mbps download and 60Mbps upload. Can’t complain, except for the price.
