[COD] How “Khaled Al‐Asad” might’ve been an umbrella identity for Hadir Karim.

As we know Hadir was one of the main protagonists back in Modern Warfare. He was the brother of Farah Karim, who he ended up betraying after abandoning her nearly dying to gas exposure while out trying to kill The Wolf. He would go on to try and kill Barkov on his own but his dangerous actions came with consequences and punishment.

He would eventually be captured by Price and Gaz but would ultimately be handed over to Russia and thrown in prison.

However by the end of the campaign. Victor Zakhaev wanted to break Hadir out of prison and arm him for his own purposes. Al‐Asad was also freed from prison by Victor and was armed to be the leader of AQ.

We also know Hadir used to have a nickname given to him by his father being "shabal" in English translating to "little lion". Khaled Al‐Asad would eventually earn the nickname "the immortal lion" after climbing up the ranks in AQ. Hadir would also climb up the ranks in AQ.

Sometime before the release of Season 4 we got a small cutscene of a phone call between Victor and Al‐Asad. With Al‐Asad requesting Victor to eliminate Captain Price. Al‐Asad even refers to Price as "an old friend".

Coincidence? I think not! Sometime after the release of MW2019 the original writers left, which is why I think we never really got a solid yes or no as to if Hadir made up an umbrella identity being "Khaled Al-Asad". Plenty of story elements have been left behind with this new MW series but I firmly believe "Khaled Al‐Asad" was a fake identity that Hadir made up to not be identified as Hadir by those he knew.

Al‐Asad's character model uses Hadir's face which was added into Vanguard as part of a pre‐order bonus for MWII.

We never see or hear of AQ in MWIII, which makes me think that they've completely dissolved unless they decide to come back around and show that Al‐Asad was an actual person and not one of Hadir's made up identities.
But I'd like to know what you guys think.

Hello Internet explorer 👋. Late to the party, I see?

Late but yeah I think he is to be confirmed Khaled Al-Asad and with the information said here it makes a lot more sense it could be him.

I mean he hasn’t shown up after Hadir dies. But that could just make it that he end sup as Khaled Al-Asad.

I mean if you look at MW2019’s Khaled Al-asad he looks so much like hadir.

If you watch MW2019’s Season 1 trailer. You can see Khaled Al-Asad was using Gas like hadir and he sounds so much like Hadir when he says: “We have plenty more…”
