CS2’s Small 17mb Update…



So today we will go over the latest Update for Counter Strike 2, not what we were hoping for or expecting, but it seems like this one actually brought some decent fixes to the game.

    Edit: Looks like the Rubber Banding is still present in the game (1:18).
    Noticed it after playing a couple of matches

    Sometimes I wonder how it looks in the CS development team at valve. Like hire 10-20 more people that are hyped to work on a game like this and make your team bigger. Costwise you would not loose much money compared to what income they would make by pushin out new content more constantly and not only 2-3 cases/collections a year and like 2 maps.

    they really should be ashamed, they knew we were all waiting something big. They have let us wait and for nothing. Like how the fuck does a billion dollar company can't update a game in time for it's 25th anniversary?

    It's disgusting to see this whole comment section flaming. As long as you're in anonymity, you think you can start nagging on everyone because your wishes are not fulfilled. Btw, Valve never said there is a big update or an Operation coming. That's your expectations from some guys reading the GitHub logs. That's called rumours.

    Honestly I havent played CS in 3 months or so, longest time since I got into the game around 2018. Its not that Im making some grand stand against valve or anything, I just have no drive to play the game anymore. Most of my friends have switched to valorant, gta5 or minecraft for game nights since there is no new content and the game was getting dry. I may be in the minority of cs players, but im pretty casual and dont like playing ranked, operations were my favorite thing in the game and now I feel that it doesnt have much of a place for me.

    Hopefully the rubberbanding is gone from the last networking update. Made the game unplayable for me for that stretch and I dont even have an unstable connection

    I had no idea rubber banding was an issue for other people as well. I been restarting my game and my
    Laptop a lot thinking that my laptop is underperforming more than usual

    After this update I'm finally able to play lagfree. This 17mb update actually fixed my game after a year of suffering, so I'm very happy ❤

    I've only tested in deathmatch so far and some rubberbanding and jittering still exist, with no indication of packet loss or anything whatsoever. Don't know how will it be in 5v5 comp though
