So, I was wanting to start getting into COD but I’m not to sure of the difference between these games and where to start. Also, are these under the same game like dlcs or are these separate games? I feel stupid asking these questions lol.

MWII, MWIII, BO6 are all different games. DLC is free in COD so you’re not required to make any additional purchases unless you want season battlepass which is just cosmetic items.
Don’t listen to anyone calling any game shit, it honestly shouldn’t matter to you because it’s your first COD. IMO none of them are actually bad, people just call them shit if they are not catered to their play style, so you have to play them to find out which one you like and which one you don’t. Personally I’d wait for BO6 and until then play Warzone Plunder(Free to Play) to get the feel of movement and gunplay.
