As a long term souls like player I’ve gotten used to that but when I fought Malenia, Blade of Miquella I remember being unnerved when I saw that I was actually doing ok damage to her and I thought “shit there’s gonna be something rough coming”
then I noticed that she was regaining her health

Thankfully it’s not a big problem in souls games, Final Fantasy 16 and Dragon’s Dogma thought…
Like in Dragon’s Dogma you can end up with your attacks doin 1 damage, if your lvl or weapon is low.

All your neighbor hears is a “God fucking dammit” yelled every 10 minutes for 3 hours
The worst is when you upgrade your weapon like 5 levels and expect it to take out a huge chunk of health only for the boss to shrug it off
Reminds me of the Fallout Video where the guy Hits the Mayor and his HP barely moves
