Call of Duty: Zombies

Theory: Black Ops 4 Aether Remakes were actually a “Zombies Chronicles 2” this entire time (IF we did get the Victis Maps and The Great War – Origins Reimagined)

Combing the fact that Chaos was Treyarch’s way of their new map ideas to flesh out ideas, Treyarch’s plan for Aether was always to close off the story with Remakes, which is technically a Zombies Chronicles 2, because apparently, they hit a crossroads where creating new Aether maps would open up story gaps that would be impossible and hard to close up Aether as a whole.

It explains a lot of why they were closing many gaps in Blood of the Dead, Classified, Alpha Omega, and Tag Der Toten. We could’ve gotten the Victis Maps and Great War that would’ve closed many story gaps to properly close their doors, if a Black Ops 4 didn’t had unfortunate consequences that plagued the game.

Bare with me, I think it’s pretty obvious (and from the recent Pastebin leak, take a massive grain of salt on this, I know mods wouldn’t like this really), that the Aether remakes would’ve been the closet thing being a Zombies Chronicles 2.

I guess the reason Zombies Chronicles 2 (basically, Faithful Remasters) would be extremely unlikely and never would happen officially was due to the fact that Treyarch would need the VAs to reprise their roles if they would negotiate with them (with the exception of the Victis VAs in Tag) but, with Romeo and Liotta decreased, the chances are sadly unlikely for a ZC2 to happen… This could explain why Mob, Tranzit, Five, and Call being skipped out when the original Zombies Chronicles was in the works.
