Counter-Strike 2

Where’s The F@*king CS2 Content?

It has been 996 days since the last operation in Counter-Strike. So — where’s the content at, Valve?

And we’re not talking about renting skins, chicken buffs, or map pool change. We’re talking about actual content.

  1. I don't know what happened but the updates this June has probably screwed with my game. I got low ping and good frames but for some reason I'm still rubber-banding and freezing at random. Is it a PC problem or game problem?

  2. I've always loved CS but never played it because it has tons of issues and it seems like Valve doesn't care about their game. I've really wanted to play but I Valve's just giving me reasons not to.

  3. Before content we need the netcode of the game to be fixed. Shots just disappear and don’t register. It’s so inconsistent and frustrating.

  4. Valve taking forever to release any kind of content at all, whether it be an entirely new game or a content update for an already existing title is so par the course for Valve that it is probably one of the most well known memes in gaming.
Valve moves at Valve's pace and no one has been able to change that in 25 years. Not defending them, I'm just sayin' it should be expected.

  5. Gonna be honest, if you need new content to keep you interested in an online multiplayer game then the games probably shit to begin with

  6. They focusing on the lawsuit now , they need more money to fight , hence the rent feature on cases

  7. Can't release content without getting a handle on the cheating situation. Who gives af about content when the cheating situation can't be curtailed

  8. can't wait for Deadlock to come out and suffer from the same issues CS2 and TF2 suffer from. Valve is a cherished company for what they've done but their track record for game support in recent years isn't exactly doing them any favors. I recently got into DOTA and though it gets consistent support I feel like that more due to them picking up Icefrog who was already committed to supporting DOTA before Valve obtained it so I give him the credit instead of Valve.

  9. It's sadly a dead game people refuse to let go of because the only value the game brings now is through jpegs. Embarrassing. Apart from e-sports which 99.9% of the game population doesn't even partake in, who can honestly say they care about this game apart from waiting for new skins to corner a market and make some e-bucks?

  10. They're busy fixing stuff that actually matters before giving us more of what we may not need/want. Unless this is just shameless hype a week before the 25th anniversary.

  11. Me: scrolls down the comments looking for TF2 mentions
Me: All is right and wrong with this world.

  12. so a low-effort, cheater-ridden game that got a NEW case and skins you can rent before anything worthwhile came out on it ISNT enough for you????

  13. Unfortunately valve isnt a game development company primarily. They feel like software company (with steam) and hardware company (with vr and handhelds) first before they are a game developer.

Steam makes them so much money that they genuinely dont need to give a shit if their game flops or whatever. At this point, they are mostly just doing it for the sake of legacy

  14. Considering that on June, 19th it will be the 25 anniversary since the first ever CS released I can assure you we're not gonna receive anything, in classic Valve's fashion

  15. Yeah overwatch showed the industry that you can take players previous game reskin it and remove every item they paid for previously. Then sell new skins and they will profit majorly. Keep buying skins. its ok. Most people won't and all they need is the few whales. If you aren't a whale then you're just a leech in the corporations view.
