This is NOT a COD competitor, not even close, you know what made me delete the game today and go back to CoD? A HORRIFIC net code, the amount of time you die behind walls is ridiculous, so to sum up, the game very little content, gunplay sucks, movement feel plastic, weapon and battle pass progress is super slow AND super bad net code on top of that, do you really think I will play it? No! As much as I hate SBMM in CoD I would rather play that than a game like XDefiant, because CoD feels good in movement and gunplay departments, it has tons of content and it has decent net code, the instances when ai die behind walls in CoD are very rare, shit there is a game that I play called caliber, I play this game with close to 300 ms. ping and I almost never die behind walls and it has a fuck tons of content and this game is made by an indie (currently) studio from Belarus, why does some rather small Belarus company has solved the problems that multi billion company like Ubisoft cannot solve?!

Looks like a game that will die as soon as the honeymoon is over. Netcode looks rough and snipers seem way overpowered… but eh, I’m old

Not the future of fps. Game modes are terrible, made by ubisoft, just another meat grinder fps game that will taper off
One thing I’d like to see change is the game modes. There are too many zone defense modes (3) compared to other styles. No tdm?
This game DOES have sbmm stop spreading lies. Even the devs said it has a small amount of sbmm

Nope, it's a decent enough game but it'll be a quick blast like Rogue Company. Okay to waste 30 minutes on a couple of times a week for me, doesn't have much replayability.

Full mixed skill teams are great and I can have a really good game and be bottom or top of the team. Crazy how much SBMM controls the experience have a good game well your next wont be…

Interesting seeing the Blitz Shield again so many years after Ghost Recom Phantoms, I think thats the only other time I played a F2P game by Ubisoft.
The Ubisoft franchise skins is an amazing idea. It would be awesome to run around with an AR that has the Eagle Bearer skin from the Division or the SC-20k from Splinter Cell 🔥🔥🔥

I’ve played for. 20 hours and I think it’s run out of uniqueness and lacking in charm. Movement and gun play is 9/10.
Snipers need a nerf of some kind and one abilities needs nerfs
This game is missing something.its boring, it don't feel like there is a true 1 shot headshot. If ubisoft really want to kill cod then they need to make a old school ghost recon, or remaster G.R.A.W
All my matches are hard asf, full teams bunny hoping, corner jumping, like every match is the same 😂

This game is excellent the most annoying thing imo is the snipers. Besides that 9.5/10 imo.. hit registration improves once you have more attachments

I had insane connective and server issues this morning. West coast of US. I literally couldn't get into a game for like 10 mins and then the lag was insane. Ping never got above 40 just servers being horrible
Not really. Pay to win, Ubisoft, bad netcode, god awful balance.

This game is so much fun
The only thing I think it could use is party size based match making. If you're solo it should try to match you vs other solo players. Maybe it already accounts for that a bit but those are the only basically unplayable matches I've had.
Matchmaking is nice but the game is bad, bullets coming thru walls, people shooting you around corners, constant jumping, hitboxes are messed up… they tried but what did you expect from Ubisoft.
Honestly Xdefiant is a lot of fun with a lot of potential. Hoping this game is around for a long time 🤞

My hit detection is so bad in the practice range on the spread target… My shots don't even register unless I plug the cat in my ps5
Can some explain to me why sbmm was a draw back ? I always thought it was good since it put you against your skill level ..
I know in madden for example , the SBMM made it better and more comp. Can anyone explain why sbmm in shooters is bad?

For anybody wondering they are adding snd, ranked, capture the flag and a bunch of other game modes after the pre season along when the new season drops they are adding one new faction a month as well as a new gun and map every month once season one drops. They are also adding private matches as well

I’d argue one of the main pros of the game it’s its simplicity, no complex gun/ability system mumbo jumbo
It's already the most memorable FPS I've ever played and I've been playing FPS games since Wolfenstein 3D and Rise of the Triads and Doom and Quake. That's why I'm happy to spend Euros for cosmetics.
Definitely gives old school COD vibes. Can't play it as fast as cod (my experience). A couple of times i had to sit back and go "slow down and stop trying to play this like current call of duty"
I agree some abilities seem to be wayyy better than other but i don't run into too many people spamming theirs.
Most gunfights i feel as if the better man usually win but sometimes i try to run from an ambush and don't get to that corner at the time the game is saying i am. Might just be me tho
