Even if you're not really into FPS games, I highly recommend giving Destiny (1 or 2 or both) a try!
I was never an FPS gamer before. In fact, when I got D1 at GameStop back in 2015, I actually thought it was an MMO. But I decided to give it a shot & I was almost immediately hooked! Everything about it — from the weapon feel to the shared world to the art, music & atmosphere — absolutely captivated me. Nearly a decade & over 8k hours of playtime later, I have so many fond memories with truly incredible friends that I never would've known otherwise.
It has its issues, of course. It's certainly not perfect. But there's just no other experience like it
XDediant is pretty legit. Better than COD. I was a young teen when golden eye came out, such great times. The golden age of gaming.
TitanFall is the best FPS series, hands down.
WaW, Moder warfare (og), advanced warfare, and black ops 1 are the best cods.

From single-player perspective….I have finished all the Halo campaigns at least once and I still think the original Halo CE is the best. Infinite plays well but it’s got the worst campaign.
