  1. F no!
I’m 35, work a full time corporate job and still hits masters every other season

  2. I won an Apex game about 20 mins ago, I'm 48. I play SC2 (nearly gold), Apex, as well as Manor lords, Endless Legends at the moment. Oh, also played Tenchu 4 today. If fact, all I do is game 😂. Still, I have a partner who constantly remind me I should play consoles, as I neglect them. ❤

  3. Young'n watch your mouth.
    I'm 42.
I mean I stink. But I've always stunk.
I got a theory you missed. A lot of us olds have other shit going on. Bills to pay. Things to do.
I'm not on the most up to date technology. I have a mortgage.
Someday I might be able to get a gaming computer instead of my old ass laptop with integrated graphics. It was a beefy design machine back in the day, but it's getting up there like me.

I think a lot of geriatric players are here more for fun than profit, and as such they aren't dropping $5k on a rig.
I would love to see how good I am with a real set up.

  4. i am 48 , and still smoke most people, in apex, warzone etc etc, mnk since quake/cs 1.0 lol,

people do not all think the same, and most people , can not comprehend another thinking faster themselves, i am talking brain reflexes etc etc, the cortex(Frontal Lobe), that can not be measured, just because some one will practice x 10 more, , does not give them that advantage over some one born with a faster thought process.

the only problem i have with the modern fps games, is the op aim assist giving to them,.

but i have no problem with that, the average causal gamer, needs that help to be able to compete,
companies need these casual to be able to compete, and buy packs, or they would just get destroyed, and stop playing the game.

  5. No server browser means you can't really make friends. The SBMM which puts you with bad teammates means you won't make friends, not being able to chat without getting banned means you won't make friends. Initially I had 20+ friends online in this game, now I have 1 if I'm lucky. I recently joined some ranked games with someone I met a while ago but didn't really stay in touch with. We played ranked (we're all Master level players) and his friend kept dying and blaming me, so after 3 games they left my lobby and found a different third. I just removed him from my friends list because I'm not about this toxic stuff.

Then there's the other issue of SBMM and aim assist/controller players in PC lobbies. I grew up in a time where games required skill. You got stomped on by someone who grinded the game and it made you want to get better to do the same. Learning skills, maps, strats took time and effort. These days most people sit on their beanbag and let aim assist take the wheel for them. There's hardly any skill expression when I'm watching controller clips, just some guy on rails that's getting the computer lock on dialed in. Either way, I'm not about that life, if a 30+ year old can make it to Master as a solo ranked player on MnK, then so should most kids, but everyone wants the rewards these days without putting in the grind.

  6. I wouldn't say being old is the problem, its that the younger kids coming into the gaming scene use more of these features that we see as unfair or cheating and refuse to give in to like supergliding for example or neo strafing or kids who will use a cronus so they can get the extra edge to get that top rank, I've always challenged myself in fps games so i understand the urge to do these things but I've never given in to the urges if i can't achieve it through hardwork and dedication I'll simply take a step back and try another approach. But in general apex like fortnite isn't your standard Fps the main focus is shooting yes but their are so many other factors that give you the edge over others who are dead accurate mainly being movement. There's very few scenarios where game knowledge in Apex can outplay someone who can simply out maneuver or out shoot you due to "unfair advantages" the best solution is just to find a more vanilla fps which there aren't many of right now that are decent

  7. I am in my late 50's and play Apex everyday. It started with my kids dragging me into Minecraft, then Fortnite, then Apex. I have 7000 kills with Wattson, but have moved on to Crypto.

  8. I'm 40 & I've played video games all my life, got really into Titanfall 1/2 and transitioned over to Apex after accepting there wasn't going to be a Titanfall 3 😢. But I must admit Apex is really fun and I play almost everyday even if it's for a few rounds.

  9. 37yo mobile gamer here… 😅
Started following you when Apex mobile came out but stuck around even after it "sunset". I used to PC game but 500$+ to game became unrealistic for me so I switched to mobile a few years back. And like you, got into FPS games a few years ago… 👍

  10. Feel like the those kids/ teens who played cod during its glory days(MW2+) will never lose their gun skill. I think that if you have 2k hours on any fps, you should be fine.

  11. Great video, I am 45 years old but I still game every day. I play a lot of games but FPS is the most fun to play. I just love Apex. Now I play with my son and I still beat him in a 1v1. So to everyone out there just keep playing.

  12. I fucked my rotator cuff arm aimming in my 30’s. took years for it to recover. Took a long time to switch to high sens but still fragging
