How I Studied Other FPS Games To Make My Game Fun

I’ve been working on this game in Unreal Engine 5 for the last couple of months. It is far from finished but I’m pretty happy with the results so far. I have done the majority of the logic in C++, the 3D models in Blender and materials in Substance painter. In this video we’ll start taking a look at how I created this, how I structure my workflows and what my plans are for this game.

I like to describe the game as a fast paced trick shooter. Taking inspiration from games that I love like Titanfall and Apex for movement. And also Roller Drome for it’s quick shooting events. And mirrors edge for the clean esthetics.

It will be too much for me to go in depth on how I’ve implemented all of these features and defined my workflows all in one video. So I’m planning on making a devlog series for the project, and gradually show how I set things up and show of new features that I add to the game. So if you are interested please subscribe! And also if you like this content, throw in a like as it helps me with the youtube algorithm. Thanks!
