VAC bans for boosting/case farming? So ppl can't just play now 2hr per week on dms to get a case? It's considered as "illegal" thing in cs2? Sounds hella stupid
I think valve finally listened to me and hired few thousands indians for 60 rupees per day to do overwatch, right now they're probably reading manual and learning what to look out for and we can expect them starting working next week
The changelog only says: "Added Overwatch system to *enable* match demo review by trusted partners" This sounds like a software engineer wrote the changelog, meaning that the trusted partners (maybe trusted partners = company. Like they did hire a third party company for steam support tickets) now have an API, but the tools to review the demos and the people who should review demos aren't implemented or trained yet.
Theres a reason OW isnt out yet, they are most likely finding a formula out to ensure the least amount of cheaters get access to it. If you just say 'here, everyone 15k and up can do OW' theres going to be such a large community of cheaters who have access and try to game the system.
You Really think it is wierd that they focus on Case Accounts HELLOOOW you are not Allowed to earn Money with CS, its way Better to Cheat maybe get Banned and to make a New Account so they say Haha look how many new Players.
The fact that strings mentioning VAC Live were found does not mean it is actually live. If anything, it's a leak and it may be a hint of what's to come, but it could very well get shelved and never see the light of day. The only thing Valve officially released is overwatch, and while I agree that nobody actually has access to it, even if we did, it won't fix cheating overnight. So what's the point in this video other than to shit on Valve for things they never publicly released?
Played two games yesterday, one comp and one wingman… Got teamed with a cheater in both games and my team didn’t want to kick him and I killed the cheater twice in Wingman 💀
Then I stood afk and just waited till the match was over
Duo qued cheaters in my 12.5K game yesterday – bhop script, spinning, jumping headshots, the whole lot. Brand new accounts with no steam profile set up and random number generator names. Was unusual for me to see them that blatant before the update but often some suspicious characters with walls/silent aim/radar…. We will have to see how this update helps with the blatant cheaters but I think Overwatch being added bodes well for the ones trying to hide it since the demo never lies

from my expierience faceit is full of cheaters rn too (especially on low levels)
