After doing several of these Distribution Center missions, both indoor and outdoor, my main takeaway is outfit all your weapons with optics! Even the 1-2x optics are better than iron sights. DC missions aren't like legacy bunker missions that are mostly CQB where scopes can actually be a negative in some cases. The interior missions at these DCs are also rather massive spaces. Also, look around the levels, there are usually alternate ways to traverse interior rooms, from vents and ducts, catwalks and lots of multi-level gameplay where you can gain vantage points and angles that can allow you to get the drop on enemies. Enemies tend to zero in on where you were last so if you manage to sneak away unseen, so you can displace and counter ambush.
Also, there are many ways to do these missions, particularly the ones that take place outside or around the DC. You can use your vehicle, you can go in on foot, or you can use ground vehicles — there's no "right" way to do them, just whatever seems like fun for you. For this video I was playing pretty conservatively since I was solo, but these missions will be rather difficult at higher server fps so grouping up will be more forgiving.
Awesome Video!
Appreciating the level up in production quality you've done in the last few days
Bit of a depressing thought that we just have to resign ourselves to the AI being awful until meshing, AT LEAST, we've seen the meshing gets the server tick to decent levels, so there's hope
Supercool!!
Hey man, I've been binge-watching your latest videos from 3.23. They're just so incredibly cool and cinematic. Subbed! Hope to see a lot more from you 🙂
