As we start a new era with Counter-Strike 2, we remember the golden years of CS:GO and it’s heroes.
The past 10 years have taken us from bedrooms to sold out arenas. But how did this all come to be?
A journey that began all the way back in 2012 with the release of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

I dedicated my life to this game and I would do it again. Thanks for everything CS. Im not crying, you are crying
Amazing ❤ Master class ❤️ Emotions ❤️
ty so much for having gathered this !
The Pasha / Olofmeister friendship is like the beautiful core of what CSGO was for me! 💛
That just unexplainable bond with initially just someone you found over the internet, playing. A strong comradery that's crossing over borders, bridges and rivalry.
You're not my friend, Counter Strike, you are my brother, my friend!! ❤
Amen
Such a great watch, even better in person in Copenhagen. Thanks for hosting this event in connection with the Major.
in 10 years we will be in the next one
The game that keeps on giving. E-LEAGUE 2018 Boston Major was my favourite
I'm just 22 but realizing I share all these memories since 2015 makes me feel old, but in a good, nostalgic way. Thank you.
good video 👍
Im not cutting onions, you are
one could say that we as a community threw a big chunk of our lives away just to play this game for 10 years but honestly?
Even without achieving anything except for hitting the lousy Supreme Rank in early 2016.. I'd always do it again.
It taught me so much and I made a lot of good friends through the game that I would've never found without it.
Such a Masterpice of documentation. Extremely rare and good work! Incredible to even write this: I never thought a videogame could make me shiver that much. Thank you go, it was a real pleasure! <3
fu dupreeh, you just made me cry a second time. it was so heartbreaking
I'M NOT CRYING, YOU'RE CRYING 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹
Thank you for making this.
Simplemente increible, he jugado este juego por mas de 10 años, es pura pasión.
Red Bull is doin' such great documentaries it's crazy.
The Dota 2 "Against the Odds & The Return of Ceb" documentaries were so great and this one is even a step beyond great!
Really a great job!
man Brax would be the Greteast North American player in CSGO if he did not got banned
wow so much emotions <3
Legends ❤❤❤
I am crying.
CS, you're not my friend, you're my brother, my friend… <3
its kind of weird that they didnt mention s1mple single time, only a photo lol. he is the goat ffs
i was here.
We need a CS museum somewhere ….
I could not agree more, CS is like a family, for me at least. Even though I only play with my friends, I play with them for more than 20 years. I'm 34 now, the boys got older too, but hell yeah, it's our passion, it's our world, it's our destiny. Thank you Counter-Strike for being in our lives. Please stay… forever!
Overwhelmed with all emotion after watching. There will never be another CS:GO.
Alright, I'm gonna say it. Pasha's beard game is second to none. With that nose and that beard… You look like an ancient greek god my friend
my brother started with fire arms and joins cs, i seen all patches of cs from 1.0 to now. so many memories, Dreamhack finals 2013-2014, Fnatic boots on overwatch, ngl, i was sitting on the side close to fnatic at the overpass boots, i did not like it, and boo'ed at them, what drama 😀
so many plays. also Andreas blum i loved that guy, made watching cs so much better. Hiko ARE YOU KIDDING ME haha 😀
Thanks redbull.
I never thought anything would be better than "Phoon – too much for Zblock" until I watched this…
Peak era, 2014-2017
Fallen is an Idol for us Brazillians.
I'm thankfull to be alive in the same era that he showed us that Brazil can be great in CS.
Thank you for everything Professor!
