Upgrading From I5 Core 11th Gen Processor with RTX 2070 Super 16Gig’s Of RAM

This is my concurrent budget I’ve Had My IBuyPower i5 Core Processor Rig with an GeForce RTX 2070 Super 16Gig’s RAM since 2015 When Destiny First Launched it came within the bundle but as the generation has shifted it is time to upgrade Should I stick with this it has an AMD Ryzen 9 Processor from what I’ve read it has a significant better speed in benchmarks and basically tops the Intel Core i9 14th Gen 9000k For the PC Enthusiasts here is this is the optimal buy or should I just stick with Intel I want to make sure the Processor is the right buy for my liking haha

Hello BappyPrime, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!

To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!

Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

  2. Uhm, akschually, building one yourself is much cheaper and better 🤓
No but seriously, it is. I dont have a lotta knowledge abt the high end prebuilts, but i think u can get smth much better for that price especially when u build it urself

  3. I assume you’re gaming? 7800X3D is the best gaming chip, 7950X makes little sense as it’s just not as good, while being more expensive and power hungry. 14900K is better in *some* games, but consumes power like a space heater and again costs twice as much as a 7800X3D. If you’re doing some heavy multi-threaded work like video rendering then look at those two, but for gaming they just don’t really make sense.

This build smells like high numbers bait, 6TB of ***HDD*** storage just so they can put “6TB” on there. And a 4080 in a build that costs 3500$. Steer clear.

If you plan on gaming the cpu is not worth the money you are spending. 7800X3D is the way…
