It’s exciting to know that V has a signature weapon of their own – The Dying Night pistol.
This iconic pistol belongs to V, who at some point brought the pistol to Robert Wilson for tuning.
I prefer not to use others’ iconic. Wonder why this pistol ain’t got much recognition.
Wish we could create our own iconic with a unique name, customized skin, etc.

Never saw it in my first play through, guess because it was still not 2.0 play through or I never saw it, on my 2nd it was my first iconic
Everyone knows V’s signature weapon is a basic Unity pistol that haunts your inventory like a ghost even after you’ve sold it five times already.

But is it really V’s Iconic? The signature text reads “Wilson’s Lexington…”, okay maybe because he upgraded/repaired it.
But then again, maybe V grabbed the gun from some gonk during the 6 month time skip.
you can in a way SPOILER weapons come in meany colors even the scopes and muzzels do as well + the DLC gives you an iconic mod you can equip and un equip as you see fit that gives te weapon the feel of your own iconic weapon
If only we could actually *use* that doofy looking mini-bayonet.

My Corpo netrunner V’s iconic is the Genjiroh.
Before 2.0, this gun had a different model which now has been given to the XMOD you win during the shoutout mission from Wilson.
And iirc, the Dying Night (previous model) was the gun used by V during the 48min demo.
It’s still one of the best guns if you want to play a ricochet gun build.
It’s really bad and I’ve never actually used it. I won’t even pick it up before level 40-50 usually cause then it’s tier 5 when picked up and I don’t have to waste mats upgrading it.
V doesn’t really have a signature weapon to begin with so I don’t know where you’re getting this idea from. Dying night doesn’t appear in any of the cutscenes, it doesn’t appear in the montage with Jackie, it never appears in corpo prequel. If you don’t use pistols and a pistol is required, V pulls out a basic unity from somewhere.
I want to be able to use it as a throwing knife.
This gun is actually really useful at the early game when u need the firepower
I’m in the process of upgrading it now (getting components is a chore).
But I don’t expect it to be a mainstay in my inventory, I just want to give it a proper go.
I’m unable to get this weapon, no matter how many time I visit him it’s not in his shop
I think ppl didn’t use it because it kinda sucked before 2.0 and wasn’t interesting
So what used to be dying light is still in game as a reward for winning at the shoot out. The new dying light feels too gimmicky for me so I use the “old” dying light which upgraded and with the right mods and a silencer makes it really good for stealth
