    Every player who actually is good at the game plays premier or faceit. I dont even know why thats called competitive? Its just casual 5on5

    I went like 10-2 on my placement games for inferno and got silver 5. Haven’t played another match since 😂

    Been Silver 3 on vertigo (the only map I play (sue me)) since placement, despite being around gold nova and master guardian ranks throughout the later period of CSGO. Looks like valve might need to tweak the algorithm a bit.

    Well, the absolute highest rank you can achieve is GN2 after 10/10 wins for placement. Combine that with ranks taking the same amount of time as classic comp, but also being per-map, it’ll take a good long time before anyone is up at GE.

    I’ve played 17 maps. Have 1.57 hltv rating. 1.61 kd ratio. ~50% win rate. Currently at SEM. Volvo pls fix.

    So the competitive ranks are broken after all. I’m around 10k premier which is supposed to be around gold nova level if I’m not mistaken, yet in competitive I’m between silver 2 and silver elite. Not to mention you need to win what feels like 10 games in a row to get up ranked

    Do those ranks decay/disappear after a while? If so it’d basically be impossible to get global on every map

    We stomped out our games on mirage, I was top fragging or 2nd behind my buddy every game and we got 9 wins, a loss, and a draw which gave me like silver 4 or some shit and I have never clicked the mode again, same for my friends

    We just went to wingman and premiere but we’re taking a break till valve like… fixes something other than minor clipping issues

    I was thinking about this as I play comp occasionally just for fun/to warn up and id consistently the lowest ranked players I have ever come across only playing comp I guess

    I’m still in sliver on most maps as it takes forever to get enough wins on each – mirage is obviously the most played/highest skill too because there are more people to rank up against

    Without people getting high ranks, how will the game allow others to rank up? I imagine you’d have to win way more games VS a team of silvers to get the same rank as if you played against MG’s or higher etc

    I haven’t seen even any blue ranks yet, feels like SEM is max achievement here 😀

    guys this was how MM ranks worked in NA from 2020 until the rank reset in 2022

    Off topic but does the Multi-Player search work for anyone else? Haven’t been able to use it since CS2 came out

    We five stacked nuke after release. We won 35 in a row. Our placements were all GN2 and the highest any of us got was MG1. We have since moved on to premier.

    Am I the only one that thinks that these badges look way cooler than the simple numbers in Premier? I mean, I love the idea of showing the elo, but I think if we had a graphic bracket that shows the exact elo when you hover your mouse over it would be nice

    Gold nova 4 in CS2 = Global/Faceit lvl10 in CSGO

    I think most people are treating the new “Competitive” as casual mode. I know I am.
