[COD] What if past characters are reintroduced as part of TF141?

I know how Reddit works so before you downvote hear me out…

I had a post here earlier, it was more of an unstructured sleep deprived rant. To piggyback on that in short; Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer clearly don’t intend on the new trilogy having the same campaign gameplay as the original trilogy where you’re alternating between the perspective of SAS/TF141 and Marines/Rangers/Delta.

How would you feel if they brought back characters from those groups as members of TF141?

– They would be back first of all. That’s much better than we’ve got now

– It doesn’t erase their past. All TF141 members have a background in another group. So they can still be Force Recon, Ranger, or Delta, and their lore can remain. But they are now operating as a member of TF141.

– It frees up our main couple of characters so they aren’t magically having to travel the globe or be split up so pairs of them can be on different continents. Price, Ghost, Gaz (and maybe Roach and Yuri) could all be in South America while Vasquez leads Griggs, Foley, Dunn, and Grinch in Urzikstan.

– They could be mixed and matched however. Want to see Price and Foley together? Dunn and Gaz? Now you can do that

I think it would be a really cool way to reincorporate the old characters into the new story and it seems like this is the only way they would do that, since all missions are central to TF141 now. What do you think?
