Mace began his military career as a Special Forces Army Ranger. At some point prior to October 2019, he used to serve with Simon “Ghost” Riley in the same unit.[1] That’s when he started to sport a skull mask similar to Ghost, albeit using a metallic skull face rather than a clothed one.
