Ranking should not be based on wins, but on how much a player contributes in each game. The constant top players should get the rank properly based on their kills and adr, if they lose one all of their efforts go in vain which leaves the players unmotivated to play.
Do you guys think it would work better with map pools? Like the defusal groups in casual mode? Having a competitive Defusal group sigma/delta rank would be cool

I actually like the per map rank. I just think it will need time until the ranks will go into a more normal stage… I mean the game is just out one month 🙂
Competitive ranks don't even show up on the scoreboard. You don't see your own rank, your parties ranks, and random teammates and enemy ranks don't reveal at the end of the match. With ranks not displaying it makes normal competitive feel like casual mode. I don't care about premier's number rating that resets every couple months. Ranks from Silver to Global is much more satisfying to climb.
I actually kinda like having a separate rank for each map but yeah it it's current state it's such a pain to climb. In addition to actually fixing the ranks people are getting they should also probably lower the amount of placement matches to like 5 maybe

one thing i dont like is how deathmatch is split up into 4 group arbitrarily. it should be Dust 2 and then everything else.
i got placed gnm on 1 map. i was formerly smfc with a 16 win streak trying to get global. of course its bugged man.
Just make the ranks normal instead of these artificially low ranks it's rediculous.i love the idea of individual ranks per maps

I ranked up from gn2 to gn3 and It still says I am gn2.
