Yes, there is a difference: “de-subtick” the strafing in CS2 can make you stop ~2 units faster when counter-strafing

  1. Again I wanna be clear Valve intended for the game to use sub-tick input and actions, so if you "de-sub-tick" actions in the game, proceed at your own risk. The most important thing is that they address this and because of all these discoveries they are practically FORCED to do something about it now.

  2. my method for desubticking is `+action;name` because steam handles setting that cvar so no errors happen and it doesnt cause anything

  3. "What you see is what you get"
At the moment I see shit, and I ain't spending time or effort on this shit.

  4. Why didn't they just raised the tick from 64 to 128 with cs2 now being released globally ๐Ÿ˜

  5. didn't know you could hmm, realign sprays maybe is how i should say it. going to try aliasing attacks maybe i'll be able to spray better with it.

  6. I think it's a good choice for people who don't like subtick. Maybe valve should put a switch in settings about whether or not send subtick info to server.

  7. Subtick is honestly trash. Itโ€™s just valve trying to make 64 tick servers good which you never be able to! Its just lipstick on a pig!

Some actions are tyed to 64 tick and some actions are tyed to subtick so now everything is random good job valve!

  8. Valve should just stop being cheap and compromise around 102 tick.. like its obvious they won't want to pay for expensive AWS boxes.
