I remember i was one of the early group to get into csgo during the beta when everyone hated on it for not being 1.6, and being one of your very early subscribers back when you had a handful. You made Counter-Strike accessible to so many people and showed them how to not only face but even enjoy the challenges it brings. It's hard to do with a game like this with such a steep learning curve and relatively little hand-holding (and I think it's a thing that us seasoned players tend to forget). Yes, "it's just a game". But building your life around a game that actually excites you is a whole lot better than building it around a job that you don't. Congratulations for building what you built 🙂
Warowl, if it weren't for you I'd have never be decent enough to teach my friends counterstrike and valorant. You're amazing and don't let people drag you down with toxicity because they also probably learnt from you !
As someone who hasn't touched CS in many many years, yet continued to watch more or less every video you've released since then, I just want to say that you are a fantastic creator. Don't feel bound by game; no matter what you play (or do, the US Army expedition was a lot fun), you always manage to evoke interesting stories, funny moments and genuine enjoyment. Tho if I had to pick a favourite, I really enjoy these silly "CS but X" videos and hope they'll still be possible with CS2. Cheers from Germany

I bought csgo with my pocket money in 2013 and i remember playing casually with my friends. I didn't know about competitive or pro CS. Until one day i stumbled across one of your early pro casts. Some random NiP vs VeryGames game on the very old Nuke. With your knowledge and excitement for the game you showed me the (for me) real Counter-Strike. I love the game ever since. I just wanted to thank you for that! You literally changed my life. I wouldn't have the same friends, girlfriend or life without your videos…
So, thank you WarOwl and I hope you gonna greet us for many more years to come!

Thank you for all the great videos. I have not played much the last couple years until the CS2 launch, but this video really brought back a flood of memories from the past 10 years. The end of the video really hit home, sometimes it's hard to remember what the game looked and felt like that many years ago. I hope CS2 brings many more WarOwl videos!

I mean, sure you can find better than you (from your perspective), but what you do is, for the least, quite great ! (sorry, I'm french, and we're used to say "Pas mal" ("Not bad") when we actually thing "Awesome")
