  1. CS2 is completely broken, shooting/movement is broken. I don't know why counterstrike players don't just demand normal servers and 128-tick. It's just a reskin, didn't even need a new engine… Then there's a bunch of dumb changes for no reason, like the new HUD, loadout limit, 24 rounds, no ranks in comp(?)… no damage numbers… legs that block my view when I look down vent. Pretty much everything is worse.
    The new glock sound is OK, though! And now there's a clock in the bottom left!

  2. my spray was good in csgo, but in cs2 without the de-subtick binds its awful. I guess it's because i always play at 80+ ping like you said.

  3. cs2 crashed my gigachad pc that can run cyberpunk at ultra without failure so hard that i got banned from premier for 30 mins and lost 1000 elo, this game is shit

  4. valve doesn't care about the consumer. they care about making money. it's not rocket science. there's a million daily players – so until that changes, valve doesn't have to

    fun anecdote – i've been locked out of my steam account and have been begging steam support to help me; they won't. i have purchase history, hell, I HAVE ACCESS TO THE EMAIL so i'm constantly getting steam notifications LOL. i even used "self-lock" and have my code ready to give to steam support. apparently all this – transaction IDs with history and trans auth IDS isn't enough proof… no they want a CD KEY LOL…. i have never used a cd key !!!!!

    steam doesn't care about you. they just want me to make a new account so i can pour more money into steam, rather than giving me whats clearly mine. they are a pack of criminals

  5. Glad youre one of the few who genuinely understand how subtick works. Too many people talking out of their ass about it. I disagree that it feels worse than csgo but thats personal opinion. Im very optimistic about valve and their attitude towards developing the game. I think the only reason they havent done some of the stuff the community wants is purely so they can get the game to a point that is competitively viable. Lets see how things go in the next 3 months before we give them too much shit

  6. Almost all of those examples of people getting shot behind walls ect. have nothing to do with tickrate or subtick. If you think this can be improved by tickrate alone you are wrong, these are issues related to latency and packet loss. One or both of the players involved are lagging.

  7. Seems like Valve didn't consider simulating movement between ticks, which is a huge issue especially with the inconsistencies we see.

  8. LEFT HAND, FREE BOB, 128 TICK, FIX SPRAY, FIX AWP, FIX MOVEMENT…. all we asked for not fucking high res shadows and random ass decals everywhere that mean absolutely nothing never once wondered what my feet look like. Feels like I have Kyphosis looking straight down lmfao

  9. MY favorite part about CS2 is that when I take a silencer off a gun and drop it for my teammate, they generally don't have a silencer toggle key bound, and they have to use it with the silencer off. Let that MF bark!

  11. Confirmed ID's and not through a phone, do it like the credit card companies, removing their anonymity would make players think twice about cheating. Solo Queue would also help, it would dampen the effects of all the kiddies boosting their friends and starting boosting services.

    One tick on 64 tick or 15 ms , that is ten times faster than an eye blink, sub-tick sure does seem to be able to see the effects of a trigger bot more easily, and yeah the animation de-sync is super annoying.

  12. Itā€™s annoying I have way more time in valrant but I enjoy csgo. The last one felt old and clunky I thought csgo2 would atleast fix it we need 128 tick

  14. Iā€™m sick of everyone defending the sub tick system. It clearly sucks compared to regular tick rate. Flicking is completely dead in CS2. You canā€™t flick cause the bullet is always behind the enemy.

  15. 1:58 nope in cs2 its worse cause the shot goes where your crosshair WAS a frame before you clicked so if you flick and click right as your crosshair lands on the target your shot will actually miss cause the bullet goes where your crosshair WAS before you clicked also this gets even worse due to ping and server performance the shot will trail more and more based on your ping

  16. I'm a Linux user and intrusive anticheat would (and does for some games) bar my system from being able to play. I would not be against some alternative like games being sandboxed, or even having kernel level anticheat on my system. I just don't want to have to change my whole operating system and way I use my PC to play a game. Because Valve is heavily invested in the steamdeck I doubt they will ever add an anticheat to CS that would restrict Linux players.

  19. Honestly for me csgo has reached its maximum potential as a competitive game. Playing the same repetitive faceit prem at 3k elo eu for like 2 years of no global changes? Give a chance to cs2 to be great. Some things are completely out of sync with the competitive level of csgo, but some fresh things may increase the potential ceiling or the game. I feel like the old engine has reached its limits, s2 will leave so much room for improvement and scalability. Not a big fan of the current state of tickless 64-tick, but that's not the final destination. My main concern is the shift to a slightly less competitive title with a variety of questionable changes

  22. Maybe one day it will be better but right now Valve looks like another AAA developer. Releasing an unfinished mess while taking away my favorite game of all time after it took A DECADE to balance and optimize. I haven't even gotten my cases the last two weeks. The game crashes just looking at skins in my inventory.

  23. Hot take: I doubt 99% of players from silver to global would benefit from 128 as much as they think they would. The pros might but the vast majority of people aren't pros. Subtick is fine, it is what it is, everyone says it's better than csgos 64 tick, absolute win, no reason to complain, let's move on.

    Edit: you seem to hate "math guy" but math guy is the one who brought you cs and all the improvements along the way. Just because math guy might not play the game doesn't mean he's wrong. Also no one, literally no one is disagreeing that 128 would be objectively superior in every case but there's a reason the police don't all have lambos and why the military aren't all using Lazer weapons by now; cost, it doesn't make sense for valve to ever use 128 because if they did it would be twice as expensive to run the servers more or less.

    Do you want a game with no servers cause they're a lot more expensive to run or do you want a game with a decent amount of relatively good quality that's consistent? It's much better if we're all limited to 64 because then it's the same for the guy who plays the game for fun and the guy who's playing with his team to win a million dollars in the majors.

    Consistency is everything and if math guy says the game is more consistent even if he hasn't played the game he'd still be right. 64 subtick everywhere is superior to 64 non subtick on csgo and 128 on faceit or wherever else.

    They already fucked the sprays, we all gotta relearn everything, we might as well learn to compromise and accept that we just have to relearn some things again. EVERYONE has to relearn it so everyone is at the same advantage/disadvantage as everyone else and the only thing that determines who is better is skill. CS2 is the way forward (I've been playing csgo for 5 years btw and I prefer cs2 even though I'm objectively worse compared to csgo, game is fine)

  24. Friendship ended with CS2, Titanfall 2 is my best friend now. Hit reg, movement, animations, input lag, CS2 feels like complete trash.

  25. So did they put a whole bunch of effort and work into making the sub tick system to just try to get away with not buying infrastructure for 128 tick servers? No no no, yeah Volvo, you hold onto the $50+ mill each month from skins and cases alone rather than put it into the game that everyone has loved and has asked for 128 tick servers (1 very important thing) for 10 yearsā€¦ ok pal, I guess youā€™re that guy šŸ™šŸ’€
