What chase scene in a horror game left you breathless and in need of a break?
Mine would have to be the Ghoul water chase in Amnesia: Rebirth (as seen above).
Trying to navigate through dark, claustrophobic, water-filled ducts while something is violently screaming and splashing behind you was simply terrifying. Not only are you slow in the water but you also need to stop to open up a hatch or two to proceed. Made me panic like nothing else.

That fucked up ghost lady from The Evil Within with her multiple arms, razor nails, and super speed! Like holy shit that thing is terrifying.
The entire Amnesia:Dark Descent game, probly worst part for me was in the flooded area where the invisible thing chases you and you can only hear it / see the splashes it makes.
I can beat that game because i keep Alt+F4ing my ass out of situations.
The entirety of Alien Isolation.
That part in outlast where the dude runs at you naked freaked me out

Not a horror game but very much still scared me was the Carnage Doc Octo chase at the end of Spider-Man (2000) for the PS1
In my experience that Outlast scene. a group of crazy dudes with baseball bats chasing you.
Silent Hill 2: Pyramid Head chase to the elevator.
There’s this great chase early on in Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners Of The Earth that’s always stuck with me

I can’t remember specifics but there was some shit in f. E. A. R. 5hat made me dribble. And condemned 2 had some frightening flash scenes.
Dying Light 1 when you first experience forced night time after you inspect the medicine crate and had to run back to the safehouse (I unfortunately did not play the hardmode which unmarks special zombies on the map)
