CS2 has been out for more than a week now and is hitting a peak of over a million concurrent players every single day.
Surely a game this popular has to be pretty good, right? Well, if you spend enough time online, you’d be convinced this game was a hot pile of garbage.
Some say the game is too easy while others exclaim it’s unplayable. The question is, are any of these complaints valid or do people need to just shut up and play?

CS2 is dead. Cheating everywhere in premier, faceit bans for smurfing with one single account without any reason, this game is bad.
Also its been years, years not months, they never tried to make anticheat sistem in order to be played fair! 2012 no anticheat until today? Why? Because they wanna make money, congrats. And adios. Will never play this again
Played CS since 2006 and started in Source and I still actively play the game, its the root of my online gaming experiences and I agree with many; CS2 is not fully ready but does that make it a trash game? Absolutely not. Source came out in 2004 and when I saw how it was compared to 2006 when I started, the game was miles worse then. People who just lose their minds and go off the fringe instantly are reactionary people who don't really THINK and ANALYZE anything anymore. Yes, it may be out of beta but its also a live service game that will continue to be updated, continue to be expanded upon and continue to grow.
Also Valve, come on guys, just add the damn cl_bob and cl_righthand commands dammit, shouldn't take you more than 2 minutes to code that. 😀
Geez, where do I start with the issues in this game? #1 – Hit reg, hit reg, hit reg, and hit reg are all complete crap, and basically a joke. #2 – There was no need to divide the maps up into different groups during casual play since the selection is crap. #3 – Your CSGO achievements are gone, with no option for retrieval, and replaced with… You guessed it, crap. #4 – The console is now crap. #5 – The kill cam is gone, and that's bull crap. #6 – Ton of features have been removed and replaced with nothing, and that's also bull crap. #7 – A lot of skins look like crap now. #8 – Did I mention the hit reg is crap? Well that doesn't matter, because it's so bad it bears repeating again. #9 – The game runs like crap on powerful computers unless you crank the setting way down. #10 – You (the player) had absolutely no choice in any of this crap, and for the first time in CS history you have no option to play the previous version instead. I've always loved Valve, but this is the crappiest thing they've ever done, and maybe even more crappy than HL2, EP2.
Well i have played about 40 MMs…. and i really enjoyed… tho fps drops can be annoying a/f. I guess S1mple still raging….

the game overall feels way better to me. Spray feels a lil off sometimes, but i truly dont know if i can blame the game for that. Everything else is chefs kiss good to me. The movement is fixed, I'm b hopping better than I did in CSGO, the utility is way more fun and dynamic, the one taps feel insanely crispy and consistent. Makes the deagle feel better imo. But what do I know, I'm just a DMG 64 tick mm warrior.
The only current unforgivable issue I have with cs2 isn't the rubber banding or the sprays, it's the hit detection. hit someone who's moving and it feels like a coin toss of if you actually hit them or not, but hit someone standing still and you will hit them even when you think you shouldn't have. The pistols have nearly 0 running inaccuracy isn't an issue, and the spreads and spray being different on rifles is fine, we'll adjust to it. Rubber banding and being blocked by team mates is an issue that valve is clearly working on still, but they haven't touched hit registration at all from the earliest days of the beta, and it's gotten worse not better. No one can pinpoint as to what the issue is caused by, but it has to do with lag compensation and something breaking with it, go on a private server with cheats on and turn on show lagcompensation, it'll be eye opening once you see it desync on lan.

im just glad because of cs2 being a very highly competitive game, valve has to constantly tweak it and they will tweak it to perfection pretty soon IMO… to keep it nice to watch like csgo
The problem with CS2 is that the only game in Counter Strike series that completly removed the previous one after launch. I'd rather buy the CS2 than have CS:GO removed
Well, tbh your approach to this matter is not based on logic. First of all, this is the first time that a cs game replaces the previous version. So, both the community and the pro players are forced to play this version for gods sake. Considering the millions that Valve earns on a weekly basis, people expect the game to be somewhat decent, not to mention the hell out of time they had to make the game ready. Noone says the game must be free of bugs and perfect, and playable on pro level ratm. Therefore, the game is a total shit rn. Leave your sentimental feelings behind and take the facts into consideration when making a video on such a big youtube channel dude.
I just was kinda satisfied with CSGO, and wish that that was still an available option for me to play, I wish it was left a seperate game on steam to play and that the community server browser still functioned, because it doesn't right now. As an adult that has to work all day and just wants to relax and play some classic CS, it's really frustrating to come home and basically be forced to be a bug tester in my favorite game. Wish people with more time, that cared more, could be the bug testers, and the rest of us could keep playing CSGO.

all i have to say is it took years and years for csgo to be where it was. 2 is much much farther ahead then when go was released. Was it pushed too early, yes but im not worried about the future. Valve has shown through the years and games they know what they are doing.
the thing is game is not even 64 but 32. so stop licking volvo pls. refusing to pay for 128 servers and forces to run on 64 clearly says that cs dies with this version.

Why would we accept a shit at the first place? We didn't want counter-strike 2, we just wanted a better anticheat, a game where cheaters get banned. No matter how much you tell me, I, a counter-strike fan am saying that CS2 isn't worth your time, go play valorant. It's better than CS2 in every ways.
You can say what you like, but all valve has done is make the game look better, the issues csgo had havent been fixed for cs2, so yes the game is shit, if a multi billion pound comapny with millions of workers cant make a decent anitcheat, cant stop players smurfing then whats the point.
Valve give us 128 tick, and I promise more players will be added to the player base. In turn you get more players buying keys and cases! Win win situation!
Every second silver player talks about how shit the CS2 spray is, when they're just missing. Sure, much of CS2 is wierd and is in need of updates, but the negativity is just much bigger than it has to be.

There's no good reason why Valve had to set an arbitrary deadline for themselves(that they didn't even stick to). There's no reason why we couldn't have just kept the game in beta for a few more months to iron out the issues. Stop defending Valve and making excuses for them.
People keep comparing CS2's rough release to CSGO's release. CSGO had a terrible release, due to it being a niche game with a small team working on it, and 1/100th of the budget. The problems you are seeing in CS2 are not acceptable, given that Valve essentially had a blank check and endless resources to make this game a more polished product. This is lazy development.

All of that is valid, and would be fine… If they had just released CS2 as a separate entity, like every other time previously – that would allow the hardcore CSGO fans to continue playing CSGO whilst they fixed the current awful state of CS2

Ive been playing cs for over 15 years. The amount of missing features here is STAGGERING. Some of these features are necessary for some people to have a comfortable experience, after 15 years of enjoying said feature. There is no content, and MM is totally broken. Even MORE broken than CS:GO ranked ever was. I'm really not sure why people are whiteknighting valve so hard on this, they fucked up big time not delaying this game and I see no problem with people complaining about it. This wave of negativity is completely warranted, idgaf if casuals cant see the difference, most of them will quit in a few months anyway. This wont kill CS, far from it, but this blind optimism is nauseating. Valve refuses to add devs to the CS team when it brings in millions on millions of dollars and the community suffers because of their shitty decision making. Like, everyone wanted 128 tick. Instead, they dump god know how much funding on developing sub-tick, just for it to introduce new problems and feel like shit. The solution was always there, valve. On top of this, the tools for community run servers are in a completely neutered state, even further wrecking communities that have been struggling since valve has started to take features away from them over the years. The CS:GO server browser didn't work for years, they finally fixed it 5~6 months ago. Now, its completely removed from the game, and the Steam browser wont show me more than 10 servers at a time after refreshing for 5 minutes. I am legitimately baffled by how BAD this launch has been. I genuinely cannot think of a worse game launch, at least you could beat Cyberpunk when it came out.
