After a ton of speculation and disappointment surrounding VAC Live, CS2 has just received its first massive ban wave with hundreds of accounts receiving the hammer along with the thousands of dollars they had in skins.
However, even with this good news, some are speculating whether or not this is truly the beginning of a bright future or just another bandaid on a bullet wound.

i’m casual player and i see at least 1 blatant cheater every couple games some i can’t tell if they are good or cheating
Valve makes money from banning and allowing cheaters to play on new accounts. It's a circular business model that makes them lots of money. Why would they want to stop that?
I cannot, for the life of me, find out why some people are downplaying the cheating issue instead of addressing it for valve to do something about it. Closet cheaters are the worst man.

its hit or miss, seems to be worse; almost intolerable from midnight-5am.
For the daytime tho it seems mostly legit. As many have said, theyre typically pretty blatant but theres alot of people out there with walls i believe lol

Cheating is more of an issue because its easier than ever. Cheating sites r much more streamlined and easier to use. Wont change until the sites themselves r taken down. Used to be a risk cheating, now its a simple purchase and download

Most of my games have been clean
Indian servers are teeming with cheaters. Ive had multiple brand new sub rank 20 accounts just auto sniper/scout the entire game dropping 30 kills 100% headshot. Im at a point where i dont even want to play anymore. With trust factor i rarely encountered cheaters because of my high trust, cs2 right now is unplayable.

1:09 Pro player forgot he killed enemy from that spot 1.5 second earlier. Only in silver enemies wouldnt know where he is. Ofc enemies can still cheat im not saying that
