Trepang2 (stylized Trepang²) is a FPS video game designed by Trepang Studios and published by Team17 in June 2023 for PlayStation 5, PS5, Xbox Series X and Series S and Microsoft Windows. Gameplay is similar to mid-2000s FPS games. The protagonist must rely on stealth, but players eventually must fight their way through enemies, both human and paranormal.

    A couple tips I wanna share down below:

    1. Frag grenades detonate when directly hitting an enemy or when being shot at, so you can shoot grenades while in midair

    2. The suppressor lowers accuracy AND damage so if your going loud most of the time it’s better to keep it off

    Loving the gameplay so far please do more!

    This game is a bit too over the top and chaotic for my preferred playstyle and there's no RPG elements that I love and need in my games, which makes exploration not exciting.. The game is also a bit too linear for my liking, but the graphics, sounds, enemies are all great. This game reminds me of a cross between Necromunda: Hired Gun and Bright Memory Infinite with a sprinkle of Deus Ex added. Side note: I own all 3 games and have completed Bright Memory Infinite, and the last two Deus Ex, but not the original Deus Ex, nor Necromunda: Hired Gun.

    Bargain bin purchase at best, pass at worst, especially, with so many games that fit my liking and playstyle more, about ready to release, like Crimson Desert and Starfield, which will be taking up all my gaming time, with thousands of hours invested in those 2 games alone. My final rating of Trepang 2 is 6.5/10 Too many games and never enough time to play them all.
