It seems to promise an apocalyptic western, specifically a world “enveloped by hellfire and on the verge of destruction”. Which I’m all for if they can pull it off, since it kinda sounds like Deadlands.
Also, I feel like we’re having kind of a western resurgence in the “Double-A” space. We’ve had Weird West from WolfEye Studios (comprised of Arkane alumni, no less), Blood West from Hyperstrange, Evil West from Flying Wild Hog, and potentially this game from Eschathology Entertainment.

Bleh, “soulslikes” are the modern day equivalent of “open world”, adds nothing to the game.
