I hope he’s running a carbon monoxide detector.

better then not having a dedicated room for yourself when gaming… id do that too if there was no other option. but i prefer room with window so i can breathe fresh air

That’s where he can go when the other boyfriend comes over.

Just get a better chair and this is fine imho.

  5. Not a single relationship in the world that’s worth this lmao

  6. Its about what you make of it in the end. If he wanted to he could definitely make it his own. A bit tight but his own

Yeah, not everyone wants a huge gaming pc setup right in their living room or bedroom. Not hating.

It’s not the worst, just in an inconvenient spot. The chair even looks better than mine.

For sum reason it looks badass tactical level, in the trailer outside the active war zone !

or the small office of one of the last survivors at a bio chimerical lab , resident evil type !

Over all it is PERFECT ! private, small and if anyone ever ‘breaks in’ the LAST place for them to look to find anything of value to be stolen is the utility room! !

Not a bad trade off for living with a Cutie GF TBH !!!

  10. As someone who’s game setup is in the coldest room in the apartment and has to bundle up. This look pretty warm and cozy

The biggest issue I see is the storage locker blocking reclining space (or tilting on rear chair legs) but other than that, it appears to be a heating line going out and returning horizontally and the sewer vent passing through the floor to the roof. Also that drywall is fucked. All in all, not bad for gaming office. Healthy relationships are built on compromise, this is a win/win for all parties involved.

    Some filler, some paint.

Move the locker that’s blocking the chair to the bottom left of the pic.

Box the pipes (not fixed boxing!)

Rotate the desk so it backs against the newly boxed pipes.

    Upgrade chair.

If it’s a rental property, then just move the furniture and upgrade the chair.

Perfect hideaway for some game time.

Sometimes it’s just better to be single

As a gamer myself, I could never do this to my partner dude that’s 💀

Now we all know he doesnt have his gun safe bolted to the wall!

Pretty sad that men need to “agreed” with their gf just so there won’t be a problem.

  17. Joe_Bruce

I don’t get it what’s wrong? If that’s the space available at her spot it is what it is.

  18. harrypotter0bama

Lmao at all the clowns defending this in the comments

  19. Without knowing how big or what the rest of her apartment looks, this seams like a red flag.

If this is just to do with space that’s one thing, but if she’s this against gaming it’s going to be a wedge in his relationship with her.

This does remind me of that post a while back where the guy had an almost identical setup and his girl was cheating on him.

An SO doesn’t have to be into gaming as much as you, but if they’re trying their best to keep it out of sight and mind, which includes your friend, it’s definitely going to become a bigger issue down the road.

Best of luck to OPs friend.

Looks cozy, better than the desks we have at my college
