  1. looks cool, but the whole progression system grind (just let me play the game) and traditional game modes kind of turn me off of it.

  2. Honestly the direction I want multiplayer FPS to go into involves more varied game modes, map design, and community features. Basically, take Halo Reach and evolve it already.

  3. Imagine a battlefield in space with armed spaceshuttles instead of tanks on choppers. Objectives are on/inside spacestations with tight corridors/destructabil walls etc.
Well we can only dream… but that would be amazing.

  4. It would be cool to see the ability to turn on/off auto stopping, similar to Star Citizen's "coupled vs decoupled mode" while in a ship. For those who don't play SC, putting your ship in "coupled mode" makes your ship only accelerate while you are actively pressing your movement button, thus automatically stopping you. On the other side, "decoupled mode" is the opposite, making your ship able to keep momentum in space even with thrusters off. This is nice as it allows you to save fuel if you have a target that is a good distance away, but not far enough to Quantum Travel.

  5. Oh snap! TBT, should've released this video on Thursday. I remember playing Shattered Horizon back in 2009. I hope Boundary can bring something new

  6. Remember when call of duty did this and people hated it Pepperidge Farms remembers

  7. Soo,that china-balloon was actually just a pr-stunt for this game?!🤣
Battlefield Bad Company 3 Wet Work

  8. I would say for a map lore wise a space station is destroyed and the debris is everywhere and spinning and crashing into each other but not escaping but being held in orbit because the station has experimental gravity tech gone bad and is influencing the surrounding space and maybe parts of the map

  9. I played the last next fest demo. It seemed to be p2w trash the way it was set up. I'll try it again this year, but if getting spawn killed by guns I can't have at start, well it will be p2w. Hopeful, but realistic.

  10. a mode involving attackers and defenders. attackers set to sabotage parts of the station. Defenders of course repel and repair. points could be set to NO REPAIR and it becomes a multi point Rush-like, mode.

  11. I doubt it will become the future of shooters ,it has already been done in some campaign games before like infinite warfare so it has it's place . The main thing so far as I am seeing it really isn't pushing anything new or unique to fps genre yeah adding some thrusters and moving around is space so far seems the only thing. The patching mechanic is just substitute for bleeding in other games ,grappling hook has been done before ,class system has been done before and the other thing they can get creative is with the map design ,but there kind of limited by their own rules witch is to be realistic. I don't want to sound like the game isn't going to be fun ,there will be a lot of people who enjoy it ,but for me personally I will pass it

  12. makes me think of the space sections of Infinite Warfare and Ghosts but the UI of Titanfall or something.

  13. Played the beta lime last year and it was awesome it definitely takes time to get used to with zero g but once you get going it’s so damn fun highly recommend

  14. looks very promising.. i mean.. pretty much what "infinite warfare" shoulda been in first place..

  15. I for one really like the idea of Boundary. I enjoyed the alpha and looking forward to this current demo.

  16. This seems like a great game engine to be added to another game. It doesn't have to be the scale of star citizen or elite but some capital ships and moon colonies and such could make this feel like a complete game.

  17. Boundary looks like a spiritual successor to Shattered Horizon. What's odd about that: Shattered Horizon was a tech demo from DX10 and looks miles better lighting-wise than this 2023 edition. Looks like either a subpar lighting implementation, or a deliberate choice to facilitate fun (ie. eliminating 'ninjas')
