I should hack my battle station with some 2813 led strips. Have a few here but no USB to 2813 interface. Plan is to put an RYGB sequential backlight lcd pulled from a busted till as both status indicator and pc display. Won’t be as good as a full size screen but still handy.

Yes this qualifies as a shitty battlestation. I’m positive you could pick up those tacky strip lights for less than the cost of those light bulbs you can adjust the color of. With this you need to closely monitor how hot the bulb gets as I would be cautious of the bulb possibly melting some of the plastic on the cables inside the case, especially risky looking at the lack of cable management.
I’m not sure if this should be allowed here though I guess mods/admins haven’t complained yet I suppose it’s okay.
